About your Notebook.
Veronica Tries is operated by PSS Creative Media LLC. A free Notebook lets you keep private basket plans and reopen them on another device. Planning, downloading, and printing are available without signing in.
Your device draft and your saved plans
The planner keeps a separate draft in this browser when storage is available. Anyone using the same browser can open it. Signing in does not upload it: you choose “Save to my Notebook” first. Opening a Notebook plan preserves that device draft. Changes to a Notebook plan stay in memory until you save them, with an optional device recovery copy described below. We warn before leaving with unsaved changes; download a copy if saving is unavailable.
What we keep
We use your email and a verified sign-in identity to open your Notebook, and store your saved plans, their creation and update dates, and the version of this privacy notice shown at signup. Plans can contain the labels, gift ideas, notes, and costs you add. A nickname is enough; please avoid sensitive personal information. Plans are private to your account through the website. Authorized service operators may access data when necessary to maintain the service or help with a request.
The services involved
Vercel hosts the website. Supabase handles sign-in and storage. Resend sends sign-in codes. If you choose Google, Google verifies your account and shares your email and basic profile with Supabase; we use the verified identity to open your Notebook. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, or Drive. They may process information in countries other than your own. We do not send plan contents to AI services or analytics. Sign-in protection uses temporary counters and keyed hashes of email and network address, rather than storing those raw values in the counters. Providers may keep their own security and operational logs.
Optional recovery on your device
When you turn on recovery for an open Notebook plan, this browser keeps a separate copy of unfinished edits for up to seven days. It is not an automatic Notebook save. The app offers it only after sign-in and a successful check that you can still open that plan. Use your own device: a person with access to browser storage could read the local copy. Signing out, deleting the plan or Notebook here, or turning recovery off clears the corresponding copies. Other devices clear invalid copies when you next open that plan or verify a replaced Notebook; expiry is checked when the site runs. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, so recovery is a convenience, not a backup guarantee.
Returning to your shopping list
This browser tab remembers the view, selected basket, role, grouping and filters for each open plan for up to a day. This navigation memory contains identifiers and control choices, not names, notes, prices or basket contents. Private navigation choices clear on sign-out or deletion here. They do not sync to other devices and are separate from the optional recovery copy.
Planner action counts
We count broad planner actions, such as opening a shopping list, requesting a print, or receiving a successful save. Only the action and a recognized campaign label, such as YouTube description, are sent to our counting endpoint. We store daily totals, separately for preview and production, without a visitor ID, account ID, plan ID, full page address, or plan contents. These counts do not store visitor identifiers or follow you across visits. A separate browser preference can turn measurement off. See website measurement for that preference and public-page analytics. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Counts older than 400 days are removed when new counts arrive in that environment.
Temporary abuse protection uses a keyed hash of the network address, with expired counters removed after two days as requests arrive. Hosting providers may retain their usual operational logs. Shopping clicks do not tell us what you buy, and print requests do not tell us whether you finish printing.
Your choices
You can rename, duplicate, download, or delete saved plans in My Notebook. “Delete my Notebook” removes its records and plans and invalidates access to them on every device. It does not delete a browser draft, downloaded or printed copies, Letters preferences, or a shared sign-in identity that may also be used for Studio access. For a copy, correction, or deletion of your sign-in identity and other information, contact veronica@pss.media. We may ask you to verify control of the address.
Sign out when you finish on a shared device. Signing out removes the private Notebook view and its open in-memory plan, but the separate device draft remains. Clear this website’s browser storage to remove device drafts and their migration backup. Downloads and printouts must be removed separately.
How long we keep information
Saved plans remain until you delete them or request removal. Supabase retains the sign-in identity until separately removed. Deleted data may remain in provider backups and operational logs for the provider’s retention period. Sign-in codes are accepted in this browser for up to 10 minutes. Notebook sign-in lasts up to 30 days, subject to provider session limits or revocation.
Letters and preview accounts
Signing in never subscribes you to Letters. Joining Letters is an optional, separate choice. A signed-in reader can choose Letters for their verified address without another confirmation email. Other signup forms confirm the address by email. See our privacy notice. Preview Notebooks are separated from the public website and from other preview branches. They are for review and do not automatically transfer at launch.
