YOUR EMAIL, TREATED WITH CARE

About your newsletter signup.

Veronica Tries is operated by PSS Creative Media LLC. This page explains how this website uses information you provide when signing up for Veronica’s newsletter.

What we keep and why

We store your email address, signup and confirmation dates, subscription preferences, and a record of your consent. If you join from Notebook, that record also includes the verified account identifier, consent wording version, and the Notebook source. We also keep the identifiers needed to synchronize your preferences with our email service, including whether that service permits sending to you.

We use this information to confirm your request, send the newsletter you chose, handle unsubscribe requests, and prevent unwanted emails. Signing up for Veronica Tries does not subscribe you to other PSS newsletters.

The services involved

Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores subscription records, and Resend handles confirmation emails, newsletter delivery, and subscription preferences. These providers process information to operate those services, potentially in countries other than your own.

Our signup protection uses a keyed hash of your network address and temporary request counters. The newsletter database does not store your raw IP address. Hosting and email providers may keep their own operational and security logs.

Your choices

You join after confirming your email, or by explicitly choosing Letters while signed in to a Notebook with that same verified email. Signing in alone never subscribes you. To leave, use the unsubscribe link in our emails or the Letters preference in your Notebook. Unsubscribing is free and does not require an account. We retain your opt-out so future list updates do not subscribe you again.

To ask about your information, request a copy or correction, or request deletion, email veronica@pss.media. We may ask you to verify that you control the address.

How long we keep information

We keep active subscription and consent records while needed to provide the newsletter, and opt-out records to honor your preferences. Our scheduled cleanup removes unconfirmed requests after 30 days, temporary request counters after two days. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention settings.

Video and previews

Choosing to play an embedded video connects your browser to YouTube, which processes information under its own privacy policy. The embedded player loads after you choose to watch.

Team preview signups use separate records, accept only the approved test inbox, and do not join the public newsletter list. Preview records are removed after 30 days.
